What we know about Rainbow Six Siege’s new Six Invitational Packs

Rainbow Six Siege has picked up the new "2019 Collection" cosmetic packs, tied to the Six Invitational.

Ubisoft has kicked off the ninth season of the Rainbow Six Pro League, its competitive championship for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Leading up to February's Six Invitational in Montreal, the studio has debuted a new wave of paid limited-time cosmetics, under the "2019 Collection."

Revealed alongside it's "Road to Six Invitational" event, details on contents and availability have surfaced. Here's what you need to know.

What are Rainbow Six Siege 2019 Collection Packs?

The 2019 Collection isn't unexpected, following multiple leaks prior to the pack's recent release. It's among the latest wave of limited-time randomized crates, unlocking a set pool of paid cosmetics. While similar to prior Outbreak and Sunsplash collections, the 2019 drop features skins themed around the Pro League event.

The full set is tied to real-world money, requiring the game's premium currency, R6 Credits. Aside from one complimentary pack, and four weekly challenge rewards, you'll need to pay to complete the set. Luckily, a lack of duplicates means you won't waste money on previously-unlocked gear.
