The new HyperX Fury RGB and Savage Exo SSDs are geared toward gamers

Super speeds and custom lighting.

If solid state drives are the essential upgrade from traditional hard drives, then these new HyperX SSDs might be the essential upgrade over traditional solid state drives. HyperX has announced the more internal Fury RGB SSD and the more portable Savage Exo SSD, and they are both available right now.

Both of these drives will use 3D NAND technology, which makes them efficient and durable when compared to traditional hard drives. It's also a developing technology that keeps coming down in price, as we have seen in other SSDs like the WD Blue.

The Fury RGB will have read/write speeds of 550 MB/s and 480 MB/s respectively. The RGB lighting will not only be compatible with motherboards that support RGB, but you'll also be able to daisy chain the device to other RGB systems so it syncs with your PC. These SSDs come available in multiple capacities, starting as low as $74.99 on Amazon. These will be meant for gamers who not only want to load games fast but also want to outfit their PCs with more customization and pretty lights.
