Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Season 3 receives first teaser

Ubisoft is finally gearing up for the long-awaited next season for its hit tactical shooter, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Following the release of June's Operation Para Bellum, a new wave of multiplayer content is on the way, with some exciting new additions expected.

A newly-posted teaser has surfaced on the official Rainbow Six Siege Twitter, featuring an embossed emblem for "Hereford Base Air Force." Although details on Year 3, Season 3 are scarce, this is an expected reference to the rework of "Hereford Base" – an existing multiplayer map with some well-known flaws.

As revealed at the February's Six Invitational, the upcoming revision is set 30 years prior to the existing SAS design alongside some significant changes. Hereford Base was designed as an archetypal map during early development, though as mechanics evolved, it was less-suited for heavy destruction.
