New Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin monitor is a sleek beauty

A sleek design and bright display make the new Dell 27 UCB-C Ultrathin a sight to behold.

While Dell's new Inspiron and XPS 13 refreshes may be garnering the most attention as IFA 2018 gears up to start in Berlin, the company also has an eye-catching new display to show off.

Called the Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin (S2719DC), Dell claims this new monitor is "the world's brightest 27-inch" display in its class, coming in at 600 nits of peak brightness. But the real attraction is just how thin it is: 5.5mm at the edges (though that does peak at 29mm at its thickest point). Combined with Dell's usual InfinityEdge design, which brings super-thin bezels to the table, and the monitor looks pretty sleek.

As its name suggests, powering everything is a single USB-C cable that can be used to provide video, data, and power all at once. The company's signature CinemaColor tech is here as well, which it claims can provide richer colors, and the display itself is certified as a DisplayHDR 600 monitor.

The Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin monitor is set to go on sale on September 20 at a price of $549.99.
