This hard drive comes formatted for Windows, but it comes with drivers to format it for Mac. Once you've installed those, you can switch between Windows and Mac without an issue.

If you're a hardcore Windows user, you can get the Seagate Expansion 8TB for $142. Saves a few bucks but doesn't work on Mac.
