The $142 WD My Passport Pro 4TB can transfer data wirelessly

A monster hard drive that's worth the investment.

The WD My Passport Pro 4TB wireless portable hard drive is down to $141.99. This price is so low it's only a few bucks above the 1TB version. The 4TB version normally sells for around $200 and has been bouncing up to $240 recently. We've never seen it drop below $170 before.

The Wireless Pro is not a hard drive for the faint of heart. I think the price already reflects that, but you're definitely getting some advanced features for that cost. This hard drive can connect to the Internet. If connected to Wi-Fi, you can access its contents from any other device connected as well (although so can anyone else if you're using a public signal). In that way, it's sort of a miniature network-attached storage device. Also, even if it's not connected to the Internet you can use the Wi-Fi signal for a direct Wi-Fi connection, which means you don't have to plug it into your computer to access it. Of course, you can always just plug it in and use it like a regular hard drive, too.
