Expanding Microsoft's love of dark modes, support has arrived for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on macOS Mojave.
Microsoft has unveiled a new updated headed to its Microsoft Office suite for Mac, delivering a dark mode on macOS Mojave. Designed for the latest version of the desktop OS, the clean interface complements the full system-wide theme implemented by Apple earlier this year.
As detailed by Microsoft Office product manager, Akshay Bakshi the new dark mode is currently rolling out to select testers. Those enrolled in the Office Insider Program Fast ring can now download build 181029, adding the feature to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The mode is also joined by new styling for upper ribbons and icons.
