RAM is pretty expensive — here are the best deals you need to know

Building a PC right now is hard, between recent GPU prices and equally-mad RAM pricing. It makes finding a good deal more important than ever, so we're here to help you make the best decision you can.

Great performance

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB

This 16GB kit from Corsair is a really good buy right now for a few reasons. It's a 16GB kit made up of a pair of 8GB sticks, it's 3000MHz RAM, and it costs less than $200.

Corsair Vengeance RAM has a good reputation for performance and reliability,, but you'll have to stick to black to get the lowest price.

$155 from Amazon

Budget choice

Ballistix Sport LT 8GB Single DDR4

You don't always need multiple sticks of RAM and this single 8GB option from Ballistix is a great price right now. The 2666MHz version is actually cheaper than the base 2400MHz one, which makes it an even better deal.

Only the red color is available at this price, but it'll look great in your rig. If you need more, getting two of these is cheaper than a lot of 16GB kits.
