Halo: Reach may still hit Halo: The Master Chief Collection

While Halo: Reach is still absent from Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries is "constantly evaluating" its return.

Microsoft has finally deployed the long-awaited major update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, bringing a variety of new features to the four-year-old title. Following its troubled debut, 343 Industries launched a program to fix its various issues, while committing to Xbox One X enhancements, Intelligent Delivery support, and various other changes.

Alongside the hefty 73GB update, 343 Industries took to the official Halo Waypoint blog to discuss its future plans for the game. The inclusion of 2010's Halo: Reach is seemingly a hot topic, which remains the last mainline Xbox 360 game absent from the collection. Although the studio isn't committing to its return, it claims it's "constantly evaluating" the prospect.

And yes, when it comes to future features, the team is definitely aware that many, many players are very eager to see Halo: Reach added – we don't have anything to announce or commit to right now, but it's on the long list of things the team is constantly evaluating and thinking about for possible future updates.
