If you really want your webcam video to look its best, Logitech's new BRIO is the one for you. It's the first webcam to hit the market with support for 4K video, meaning super-crisp footage in apps that support it. It doesn't come cheap though, with a price approaching $180.
It's also pretty well-rounded, with a neat background replacement feature like the (much cheaper) C922 and support for the important Windows Hello security features in Windows 10. Throw in HDR, a 90-degree field of view and a privacy shutter and you have something approaching the king of webcams. It's pricey, and still not something for the mainstream, but it's impressive nevertheless.
Bottom line: This should be your choice if you're looking for UHD webcam video.
One more thing: The BRIO also supports Windows Hello.
