Microsoft's latest Crackdown 3 developer update further details its upcoming plans.
Microsoft has debuted its latest in-house Xbox-exclusive, Crackdown 3, for Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Despite mixed reviews, its crazed action-adventure gameplay has drawn a sizeable pool of players, driven by the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. And after hitting stores shelves, Microsoft is now outlining its post-launch plans for the title.
As detailed in its second developer update, the Crackdown team has committed to three significant fixes. The biggest task hopes to implement Xbox multiplayer parties in "2-3 weeks," recently sending engineers to Elbow Rocket in Scotland to "accelerate the work." Microsoft also hopes to address campaign save bugs by February 25, while promising a fix for an unlocked cooperative framerate on PC later down the line.
Since Crackdown 3 launched, the team has reportedly fixed 30 bugs, with more to come as they arise. And to bridge this wait, a free "Bonus Content Pack" has released, featuring a new weapon, suit, and vehicle.
