Dell's refreshed XPS 15 is here, and it's bringing some extra graphical oomph along for the ride.
As part of Dell's flagship consumer line, the XPS 15 has never shied away from power. But with its 2018 refresh, the XPS 15 (9570), Dell is kicking things up a notch with amped up graphics and Intel's latest processors.
If you're familiar with the look of the XPS 15, then the 2018 refresh won't pack any surprises. On the outside is a platinum silver cover, while the inside features the same carbon fiber finish. Dell's InfinityEdge display is also on board again, ensuring super-slim bezels.
Where Dell has kicked things up a notch is with the graphics, which the option to equip the XPS 15 with up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti. That should be enough power to ensure moderately good performance on games that aren't too demanding. The refreshed XPS 15 can also be equipped with Intel's latest eighth-generation processors, with Core i5, i7, and i9 options available.
Otherwise, you're looking at a very similar package to previous XPS 15s. The 15.6-inch display is available in either 1080p or 4K options, and an optional Windows Hello-enabled fingerprint sensor is also available.
