HTC's Vive VR headset is getting a dose of radiation in the form of Fallout 4 VR.
Fallout 4 is a first-person shooter with an emphasis on RPG elements, open-world gameplay, and gore, tons of gore. Fallout 4 is coming in its entirety to VR, and for those picking up a HTC Vive, you'll be able to get in on the action for free.
Announced earlier today, HTC stated that all purchases of HTC Vive headsets from the company's website or via an authorized retailer will receive a free code for Fallout 4 VR ahead of the game's launch on December 12, 2017.
Fallout 4 VR is not a VR "experience," it's essentially the full game, with the look functionality bound to your headset, rather than a mouse or joystick. The combat engines, crafting systems, and base building mechanics have been reworked for VR too, to make them more intuitive.
