Hands on with Windows 10 build 14997 showcasing new features and changes

A new Windows 10 pre-release build leaked earlier today that features a number of new features and changes over the last public Insider Preview build. Buiild 14977 comes from an internal development branch called "rs_onecore_base", and is packing some interesting changes.

As mentioned above, this is a leaked build and therefore is not considered an official release. As such, Insiders will not receive this build through the Insider Program and we don't recommend you install it.

Because of that, we've thrown together a quick walkthrough video showcasing the most noteworthy changes in this build to save you the hassle of installing it yourself. New changes include Edge improvements, Settings improvements, a new Share UI, an entire new set up experience and more.

Insiders can expect to see these new features show up in the next couple of Insider Preview releases, scheduled for rollout in the early part of January when the Insider Program resumes. Until then, stay tuned at Windows Central for more on Windows 10 and the Insider Program.
