How to disable the Windows 10 lock screen

  1. Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run window.
  2. Type netplwiz.
  3. Click OK.

  4. Click your account within the Users for this computer field.
  5. Click the checkbox beside Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. so that the check disappears.

  6. Click Apply.
  7. Type your password into both password fields.
