Sunset Overdrive is seemingly headed to Windows PCs, following an ESRB rating.
Sunset Overdrive was among 2014's top Xbox One exclusives, developed by Insomniac Games, and defined by its wacky, fluid third-person shooter gameplay. While the studio has since moved forward with a hit Spider-Man PlayStation 4 game, it appears the project hasn't been forgotten.
The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) (via Gemastu) has now rated Sunset Overdrive for PC, indicating a re-release is on the horizon. A similar listing appeared back in May, where the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) pushed a classification for its PC debut. Microsoft is yet to announce a PC version of Sunset Overdrive, however with X018 set for next week, the game could be in attendance.
The ESRB rated Sunset Overdrive "Mature" for Blood and Gore, Drug Reference, Sexual Themes, Strong Language, Violence. This falls in line with the Xbox One version.
As more details for Sunset Overdrive on PC surface, we'll be sure to update this post.
