Phantom Dust is a classic Xbox game from back in 2004, and it's being revived for Xbox One and Windows 10.
The title was originally announced as a remake for Xbox One a few years ago, but the project was unfortunately canceled due to difficulties with the game's developer. In the interim, Microsoft Studios has decided to port the original version of the game to Xbox One and Windows 10, giving it a bit of a makeover in the process.
We haven't seen a single shot of the re-release, until now!
We're back for another new episode of #AskDanWindows. This week I answer questions about the Creators Update, what happens to Xbox One after Scorpio, and my thoughts on Android emulation!
Let's get to this week's big questions!

We recently received a partial list of planned 4K titles for the next Xbox, dubbed "Project Scorpio," and we're now able to fully confirm its authenticity.
Microsoft will unveil Forza Motorsport 7 as the headline title for Project Scorpio very soon, and it will run at a blistering True 4K resolution. We've heard reports from reliable sources that the game, in true Forza fashion, already looks utterly stunning, and will showcase just what the console is capable of.
Compact computers are becoming ever-more popular thanks to cheaper, more powerful hardware, and the Raspberry Pi system is one of the most popular out there. Although you can connect to the internet with your Pi right out of the box, figuring out how the rest of it works can be a daunting task.
What you need is a set of courses that begin with the basics of compact computing and move you through to advanced topics like building robots and discovering web development through Raspberry Pi.
Right now, Windows Central Digital Offers has a complete Raspberry Pi 3 starter kit for only $99. That's about 63% off the regular price of $272! What does the starter pack hold? Other than the actual Raspberry Pi 3, enclosure case, 8GB SD card, power adapters and plethora of cables, you also get immediate access to the following courses:

A body pixelating under the bridge, a decaying town, and five strangers who are linked somehow. Welcome to Thimbleweed Park.
Point-and-click adventure games are how many gamers cut their teeth on video games. So it was supremely exciting when a Kickstarter for a new point-and-click adventure game emerged. Thimbleweed Park sets you down in a decaying town where weird things seem to be par for the course, including a pillow factory that burned down and a pixelating body that nobody seems to care much about.
Note This title is expected to be released on Xbox One and PC on March 30, 2017.
Thimbleweed Park has a look that might make you nostalgic, but it's far better than the games you remember. It's a call back to the point-and-click adventure games that were popularized in the late 80s and 90s, with a pretty significant facelift. You might recognize the looming backgrounds and emotive scenery, but the gradient colors bring each scene to life in a way that just wasn't possible before. These aren't graphics that are going to blow you out of the water with realism, but they are fantastic in their own right.
Early Project Scorpio units are out in the wild, and there are already rumors flying around about tech specs and benchmarks.
I thought I'd temper some of those rumors with information I received about Project Scorpio's Xbox Developer Kit (XDK) roadmap, which details how the software powering the next Xbox will evolve during the coming months.
Update for March 2017: We went back over our picks for the best all-in-one printers and these still stand as the top options.
Ideal for a small office that demands heavier usage, the Dell Color Cloud H625cdw can do everything larger office models can. The 4.3-inch touch screen is customizable with clear and user-friendly presets. It can print up to 25 pages per minute, and the laser printer handles image and text equally well. The 300-sheet paper capacity can be upgraded to 850 with an additional paper tray.
Bottom line: If your needs require a little more fire power in the printing department, this Dell machine offers just that.
One more thing: The printer can even store document templates for convenient access.
There are a ton of areas that are getting a little bit of love in the Windows 10 Creators Update, but one that may fly a bit under the radar in comparison to the rest is the Microsoft Maps platform.

In anticipation of the April 11th release of the Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft is pushing out a new cumulative update patch for those on the Slow and Fast Insider rings today.
The patch will bump the OS from build 15063.0 to 15063.11 and is listed under the KB4016250 update.
Is Microsoft Teams better than Slack?
With the release of Teams, Microsoft's new corporate collaboration app, many people are wondering how it compares to Slack, the name most people think of today when it comes to office chat. Teams hasn't revolutionized the collaboration game by any means, but it does offer strong competition.
Let's take a look at exactly how these two apps compare in the areas that matter most.
One of the most important factors in deciding between these two products is the price. Companies that already subscribe to Office 365 for Business or Enterprise get Teams as a free addition to an already strong suite of office tools.
Let's say that your business isn't already using Office 365. In order to grab service apps such as Teams, OneDrive for Business and Skype for Business, without including any Office apps (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), you're looking at spending $5 per month, per user with a yearly commitment. Enterprise E1 subscribers are looking at an $8 per month, per user with a yearly commitment.
The Lumia 930 is now three years old. How well does it hold up in 2017? You might be surprised.
It's not like we're getting any new Windows phone hardware right now, so I thought it'd be a good idea to go back in time and re-review one of my favorite Windows phones, the Lumia 930. I've rocked many Lumias in my time, including the 925 the 1520 and of course, the 950. But my all-time favorite Windows phone is the Lumia 930. So after three years, how is it holding up?
As a phone from 2014, its specifications on paper aren't going to impress. Still, it's by no means a badly spec'd device, even by today's standards.
The Lumia 930 holds up tremendously well design-wise, especially if you've looked after your device. The trend of metal and polycarbonate is still a popular one among hardware makers in 2017, so the 930 doesn't look dated. What's more, the Lumia 930 was available in several colors, including the usual crazy bright green and orange, as well as a more sensible white or black.
The WhartonBrooks story is that of a Windows phone fan who started a company to make phones for other Windows phone fans. After nearly three years of struggle, "the Moment" has arrived.
I mean that literally. The Windows phone that has been shrouded in secrecy since this courageous Connecticut-based upstart company made audacious and ambitious claims in a press release last year is called the "Cerulean Moment."
Early this month, I sat down with WhartonBrooks CEO Greg Murphy and spent nearly two hours talking about the Moment, WhartonBrooks and what happens next.
This exclusive includes a reveal of WhartonBrooks's smartphone strategy, the latest challenges to its plans, and the official announcement of the Cerulean Moment, the only Windows phone made for Windows phone fans by a Windows phone fan.
Last year's Total War: Warhammer marked the first time a Total War game took place in a fantasy setting. Players could control armies of humans, dwarves, and orcs as they engaged in large-scale strategic battles.
The venture was so successful that SEGA just announced Total War: Warhammer II will be coming to PC later this year.
Should I save my old hard drive? And if so, what can I do with it?
One of the great things about PCs is the ability to swap out old hardware for newer, faster parts, especially hard drives. Now that solid-state drives (SSDs) are becoming more popular, thanks to lower prices and faster speeds, many people are swapping out the old hard-disk drives (HDDs) in their desktop PCs. Also, many people who buy a laptop will go with a drive with less space to save some money and will plan to upgrade further down the road.
In any case, after a hard drive swap or upgrade, you'll have an old drive lying around. Instead of shoving it into the back of a closet where it will collect dust, you can repurpose it with a hard drive enclosure. This essentially creates an external hard drive that can be used via USB with any PC as extra storage.

In an effort to save innocent data everywhere, an initiative known as World Backup Day was started. The mission is simple: raise awareness of data loss, and have people worldwide back up their files and folders on March 31.

Data loss, when experienced first-hand, can be frustrating, devastating or even heartbreaking, depending on what you lost. Those vacation photos? Forgotten. Your novel five years in the making? Better start writing that prologue again. Important files from work? Start planning how you'll break it to the boss.
To avoid painful scenarios, all you have to do is back up your data. Yes, it's one more thing to do in an already busy day, but it's an invaluable step that can save you time in the future.
Windows Central takes data loss and backup procedures very seriously, and we created quite a few guides on creating proper backups in a wide range of scenarios.

I've been a part of the Microsoft mobile ecosystem for as long as I can remember. I have owned Windows phones since the first Windows Phone 7 device was released. I've stayed loyal to the platform for six and a half years, but unfortunately things changed. Here's why.
I've spent a good portion of my life using Microsoft's smartphone offerings. I fell in love with Windows Phone 7 and stayed loyal since it was released. The beautiful and modern interface blew me away with its futuristic approach, and the smoothness and speed of the OS were just unreal. This was in 2011 when Android was a slow, poorly-coded mess and iOS lacked many features considered standard. Windows Phone was the savior of smartphones for many. Unfortunately, it didn't end so well.
I have now given up my hope and I have left Windows 10 Mobile. Maybe not forever, but at least for a while. What pushed me to this decision? Unfortunately, Microsoft.
The current situation of Windows phones is rather sad. The almighty Lumia brand is dead and gone, flagship phones don't perform like they are supposed to, apps are leaving the store almost every week, and the list continues. People are leaving the platform at an alarming rate, and so are developers. That hasn't bothered me too much, though, because Windows 10 Mobile still had most of the apps I wanted, and every one that I needed. So what made me leave? The extremely poor user experience.
