2016 isn't completely over, but here's a look back at the best games released so far!
It's always good to keep track of the best games and look back at the road to how we got here. Here's a list of the best Xbox One games by genre so far. We'll update this list again later in the year to reflect the latest releases and include new genres.
Update November 2016: Battlefield 1 has knocked Halo 5 off the top spot for Best Online Shooter, Gears of War 4 has made its way into the runner up category in various genres, in addition to Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2 and Skyrim: Special Edition!
